The Academy of Motion Pictures and Science had originally said that you didn’t need to be vaccinated to attend this coming March’s ceremony, but now they’re reversing course and saying you need your three jabs to attend. What seems to have occurred is a backlash from invited guests who felt uncomfortable sitting or being in the same room as un unvaxxed individual. The horror! Oh, but wait, it gets better. Those performing and presenting at the awards ceremony, on the other hand, will not need to show proof of vaccination, but will be tested rigorously. Is Will Smith presenting? That would be a hoot. 2,500 nominees and guests are expected at the Dolby Theater, which typically seats over 3,300 people. That means there the theatre will be filled at around 75% capacity come Oscar night. Contribute Hire me
