“Get ready to jingle some bells and deck the halls with boughs of Bruce Willis,” the narrator says.  Going on to add “Stylish and cool Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) is in Los Angeles as well for the holiday season, but he’s not there to give out presents.” So, does that make it official? Is “Die Hard” officially a Christmas classic along the lines of “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “A Christmas Story”? In my world it is. It’s an elusive question that has plagued many cinephiles over the years. Bruce Willis even butted into the debate, jokingly, by saying “Die Hard is not a Christmas movie. It’s a goddamn Bruce Willis movie!” at his Comedy Central roast a few years back. Contribute Hire me
